For most people, there are a handful of experiences that take place over the course of their life that really stand out as being special and memorable. I’m not sure about everyone, but for me, taking my first international trip was one of the experiences that falls into this category. I had taken a lot of trips before I took my first international trip, but none of them could compare to going to a place that was so much different than the place that I have always called home.
For my first international trip, I traveled to Germany. This trip took place for me at the end of last year, and I stayed in Germany for a total of eleven days. I thought that my trip was so amazing, which is why it is actually kind of challenging to put all of my feelings and experiences into words. From the time when I first arrived in Germany, I made it my personal goal to fit as much as possible into my schedule. Looking back at all of the things I fit into eleven days, I think I did an excellent job of accomplishing this goal.
