Like any trip, traveling to Munich can be quite expensive. However, it’s important to understand that it doesn’t have to be expensive. If you are willing to invest some time into finding the best deals are available, you can travel to Munich on a very reasonable budget (and still enjoy your time there just as much).

If you are still skeptical, just take a look at the deals that are available on hotels in Munich, Germany:

Hotel Laimer Hof: This hotel has received an award for being a “Top Value” in Munich. If you are wondering why, it is because they offer rooms for an average of $172 a night.

Hotel Uhland: If you want to stay at a hotel that is very comfortable and reasonably priced, the average room rate of $168 a night here should ensure that both of those criterions are met.

Jedermann Hotel: While you might expect a hotel in Munich that offers breakfast, an attentive staff and a location that is incredibly convenient to be very expensive, if you stay at the Jedermann Hotel, you can get all of these things for the low price of $171 a night.

Hotel Cocoon: The name of this hotel is quite fitting, because when you crawl into bed at night, you will feel like you are wrapping up in your own person cocoon. Best of all, you get this excellent comfort for around $167 a night.

Hotel Bavaria: While this hotel doesn’t offer the biggest rooms, they are all incredibly clean, which is something that you can’t argue with given the fact that one of the rooms will only cost you an average of $196 a night.

Germany is a very important place to visit for any traveler that needs adventure and historical significance. There are plenty of great historical sites that would peak anyone’s interest but there is one in particular that anyone in the Berlin area should see. This is Checkpoint Charlie located in Berlin where the Berlin wall once stood strong and divided the two sections of Berlin. Now it is a major tourist attractions for those who wish to see how Berlin was reunited through a crack in the wall. Thousands of families were kept separate from each other during war time and even after that point. The breaking down of the wall unified the two separate portions of Berlin and made it possible for families to reunite and have a chance to see each other again. Checkpoint Charlie allows you to see this great landmark and so much more.

There are plenty of great things to see in Germany and the best way to be able to see these great attractions and historical interest points is with the help of a rental vehicle. Rental vehicles make it possible to go anywhere you please without many restrictions. It is a very good idea to have your car rental needs taken care of before you actually go on your trip. The easiest way to have your car rental needs met is to take advantage of the internet options for reserving your vehicle on your travel dates. Making reservations in advance allows you to save a larger portion of money on your car rental than you would normally be able to take advantage of. There are plenty of great options available for you to choose from, especially when traveling in Germany as you will be able to choose from many great German manufactured vehicles for a very low price range.

Berlin is a wonderful place to go on a trip. Although I have already been there twice, it is still a place that I want to visit again. There is simply so much to do in Berlin that even if you go there on multiple occasions, there are still going to be more things that you want to do.

When you are planning a trip to Berlin, in addition to booking a flight and reserving a rental car (take it from someone who has been there before, even though you can wait until you arrive to find a rental car, you will save yourself time and money by doing it in advance), you obviously also need to find a hotel where you will stay during your time in Berlin. Since there are so many hotels in Berlin, it can be overwhelming to find the right one, but I’ve got a few suggestions to help you narrow down your list:

The Circus Hotel: With an average nightly rate of just $126, it’s hard to beat the value they provide at The Circus Hotel. Thanks to their quality service, there are plenty of people who refuse to stay anywhere but here when they visit Berlin.

Mercure Hotel & Residenz Berlin Checkpoint Charlie: If you don’t mind spending some more money, you will love staying at the Mercure for an average rate of $176 a night. The rooms are great, and the hotel is located in a very convenient place.

The Ritz-Carlton Berlin: If you want to go all out during your time in Berlin, you can’t beat the Ritz Carlton. At an average rate of $375 a night, it’s not cheap, but we all know that the Ritz-Carlton is known around the world for their luxurious hotel offerings.
